God
There is one eternally living God creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible.
In the one God are; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the revelation of the invisible image of God. We beheld him as the only begotten Son of God. He lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men. He died and rose again on the third day, demonstrating His power over sin and death. Through faith in Him we gain access to eternal life. He ascended back to heaven’s glory and will return again and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Man is made in the image of God and He created both male and female. Man is the supreme object of God’s creation. Even though man has a great potential for good, he is entrapped by a perpetual cycle of disobedience to what God called “sin”. Sin separates man from God and makes it impossible for him to please God.
Even though man was created with a great potential for good. When Adam chose not to obey the voice of The Lord, man became a distorted image in the eyes of God. All of mankind has become entrapped by a perpetual cycle of disobedience to what God called “sin”. Sin separates man from God and makes it impossible for him to please God.
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works – only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be free from sin and it's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
The Body (Church) of Christ
The congregation of believers is for the edification of the saints. Every believer should belong to a local Body where they may be spiritually fed, experience a loving fellowship, serve and be lead by a godly Pastor.
Judgement will come to both the living and the dead and upon Christ's return he will establish the fullness of God's kingdom. Man will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.
