Good Saturday morning,
I want us to continue and end this 2 part thought about---Your Faith being Tested.
Our faith is regularly tested, because God wants our faith to grow.
Hebrews tells us---"WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD"
Last week we looked at 2 areas: The Pressure Test and The People Test.
We look at today---
#3- Persistent test
This is the test that says---Will you keep your commitments?
That's important for many reasons.
-People count on you when you say, "you can count on me"
-Keeping your word is an indication of who you are.
Much of life is composed of making choices and keeping commitment.
Be careful of trying to commit to many things and not accomp[lishing them well. Better to do a few and do them with EXCELLENCE.
***While weak give excuses for not doing what they said, wise people find the time and way to do what they said they would do.
Which one do you fall under?
#4- The Priority Test
Vital, vital, vital!!!!
Simply asked---"Who will be first in your life?"
I know we all want to say "GOD". Now that's the right answer and of course a great answer. The question is ---how do I know that God is first in my life?
5 simple questions that if you answer them honestly will let you know if God is the PRIORITY in your life.
1- What do you think of the most ?
2- Where does your money go first?
3- How do you spend your time?
4- What kind of people do you spend quality time with?
5- How much time is spent in prayer and the Word?
The answers will help you see where that priority is.
Well, take the test and pass it.
