Great Saturday morning family,
As you read this blog, the Man Cave Ministry will be sharing the program to other pastors who are interested in starting a Man Cave at their church. Be praying for Bro. Darryl Anderson and his team.
Here's a question to ponder-- Have you made any mistakes lately? Sure you/we have.
One of my desires in life is to make as few mistakes as I can. Why!!! Often our mistakes touch the lives of other people and we must be mindful of that.
I read the story of Daniel and found something interesting---in Daniel 2:16, it says, "Daniel went at once to see the King and ask for more time to tell him what the dream meant."
There is a principle in this statement. Here it is: "It is more important to make the right decision than a fast decision"
Fast decisions can and often bring disaster to you and others.
Imagine if Daniel just made any old decision that came into his head and it was the wrong one. Do you know what the king would of had---Daniel's head on a platter.
A wrong decision is wrong, no matter how quickly you make it. Step back, breathe in and calmly speak to God and get His counsel.
Daniel gives us a great model for dealing with decisions that you are not clear about.
It is NEVER wise to make a decision without first taking time to think it through, and pray it through. You just do not want an answer ---you want wisdom in making that answer.
You are more likely to make a better decision when you do not rush to make a quick one.
Take your time and you probably will not regret the decision you made.
***Here is a decision that is ALWAYS right---Love Jesus, and get to church tomorrow morning. We start at 10:00am.
