Good Saturday morning Family

I was reading the book of Zechariah 13. That's in the Old testament. 

In vs 9 it says, "I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call upon my name and I will answer them" WOW, what a promise to claim.

But then I had a question---how is God going to purify me? The answer is by TESTING.

There are no blessings that last without the Testing. You learn more about yourself when you don't instantly get an answer to your prayers,

Read the verse again. You test GOLD by putting it in the fire and heat it up until all the impurities are burned off. God wants to refine us. We are His trophies in an evil world. But when the trophies have tarnish on it, it must be cleaned up before you show it. 

Have you ever thought about what are the stains in my life that need to be cleaned up and removed? I am sure the list could be very long. Make your own list, but know that's what God wants to do to you and any of us who declare to be His.

There are other blessings to passing the test. Answered prayer is another one of them. So, answered prayer comes after the TEST. Before the blessings come testing. 

Someone said---God tests you with stress before he trusts you with success. 

These are just some truths to clearly understand so you won't get frustrated and quit along life's journey.

What's the purpose for all this? God wants to display you and me to a lost world that is on their way to hell of His goodness and mercy. 

So, let Him purify us without us complaining, so He will get the glory and we will get cleaned up.
