Great Saturday Morning to you.
Did you know this? "God made us and has given each of us some special abilities; no one is missed, therefore be sure to use your gift to help each other.
That is pretty good and that's because the bible tells us that in 1 Peter 4:10.
God did not put you and me on planet Earth to look pretty and take up space. As you have heard me say over and over, God has a purpose for us while we are here. The purpose and talent is not for your benefit but for the benefit of others. That's because God wired us like that so we would need each other. Nobody has it all together,---NOBODY.
We were created to do "good works". In the church realm, we call it "Ministry". Any time you use your talent or gift you are a blessing to someone else. When you don't use your gift the rest of us miss out.
So, here is my suggestion---Ask yourself what is my gift, what is my passion? How can I use that gift to bless someone else? Know this, as you use your gift to bless others you are serving God.
You don't need to be behind a pulpit or singing a special song, just using your gift, your talent to bless others and that pleases our God.
Remember what Jesus says in Matt. 10:40, 42 "If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward." That is a picture of YOU!!!
Think about the needs in your community, your extended family, your church. How can you be used by God with your gift to bless and help others?
