Good Saturday morning to you.
*** I want to invite you to join us starting July 2nd at 7:00pm. We begin our Wednesday night Summer series. In the months of July and August, our Pastoral staff will be teaching on the 7 churches found in the book of Revelation 2-3.
We have some of the best teachers of the Word of God around and we are using them to instruct the church with that truth. The churches in Revelation is a type of what the churches are today throughout the world. We can learn a lot from those truths found in those scriptures. Circle it on your calendar.

Here is thought for today to hold on to .
In Isaiah 59:2 --it says, "Your wrongs have separated you from your God, and your sins have made him hide his face so that he doesn't hear you."
Wow--- what an indictment against the people of God.
Have you ever notice that hidden guilt is miserable thing to try to hide? When we hold on to our mistakes or sins, we are always concerned that someone will find out. That could leave you in a mess. I have personally found that I can not be happy and guilty at the same time. I must let go of one or the other.
We don't have to drag along the wrong, the sins, the regrets and failures into the next day. They are so HEAVY, and UGLY. We can drop them and come clean with God. He already knows we messed up, so CONFESSION is the first step to RE-CONNECTION with God.
Guilt is a tool the enemy uses to make us feel disconnected with God.
Ever feel distant, or detached from God? Maybe your prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling and God is not around?
Here is something you can do daily without feeling guilty about---Ask God, what sin or wrong doing have I done that I need to correct before I lay my head down? As you (we) do that, it will keep your account clean with God. That will make you sleep better.
So, Confesss it to God, deal with it as best as you can, and then let it go.
You do not need to carry the guilt of anything that weighs so much. Jesus did that for you already on the CROSS. Come on---hand it over to Him, he is waiting for you.
