Good Saturday morning to all,

Happy New Year!

I was reading Luke 6:38 this week and I thought about that verse and how it applied to me personally. I addressed it and made some decisions for myself for this coming year.

The verse says in part---"Give, and it will be given back to you..."

Many have made New Year's resolutions, and it's your thing, no problems. But I thought since it says, "Give, and IT will be given back" that's a promise from God who cannot lie. So, what is it that I want in 2024? I can get it back even in a great amount.

***One of the first things we all think about is money. Since God is the source of money and it comes from Him, then I need to give more to Him and His business, and the promise is He will give back. You either believe that or not. 

***Another I want more of is FORGIVENESS from others, so I need to give "IT" and it will be given back to me.

***What about "MERCY'' give "IT" and it comes back to you. Now, you can make your own list of "IT" and believe that God will honor His Word towards you in those areas. What are the "ITS" that you want more of? As you think about  that---check your motives and reasons, for God is no fool, He knows your heart.

Something else---when you give "IT", scripture says that God gives back in a manner that is Full-Pressed down-shaken together-to make room for more, running over, and pouring into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. When you give the "IT" generously, you will receive it back in the same manner. 

Could it be that you determine how much of "IT" you recieve back, based on how much you give? Could be!!!

One thing is for sure---You can NEVER-NEVER out give God. So, what is holding you back in 2024? GIVE IT!!!
