Good Saturday morning
I trust we are all keeping up with our Proverbs reading one chapter a day. What have you gained from it? Any counsel that you have used this month that came directly from proverbs?
Keep reading and applying.
Reading in the book of John and I came across John 10:10. One of my favorite verses. That's a powerful verse.
Now, do we believe that promise of an abundant life? I do. Doesn't mean no problems, but that problems come with stepping stones and stumbling blocks. How you view that is a personal choice that will have benefits or consequences.
Victory is available in every area of life, because of God's promise to us. Have you ever matched up the problem you are going through with a passage of promise to that situation?
There are all kinds of tools to help you find passages in scripture to lean on when those challenges come. Look beyond the problem and see the promise.
When you look to the promises you have something to hold on to. Without the promises before you, all you are doing is 'wishful thinking'.
Promises are pictures that could show you what things can look and be like. That will help lead you to victory in those situations.
What are your thoughts like when challenges come in your life? Are they anxiety and defeat? Do you give up hope? Do you rise above what they look like and see the faithfulness of God over your life?
Here is something you can do even today. Write out "I have come to give you life and life more abundantly". Post it around where you can see it regularly. Each time you see it ---READ IT out LOUD and declare ---I believe it and it is for me, in Jesus name!!!
This today, I am believing in God's best for you. Why not believe it for yourself as well.
