Good Saturday Morning to all
***How is your reading of Proverbs doing this month? You should be up to chapter 7 if not 8. Remember one chapter a day will make you wiser than you were yesterday if you apply the word you read.
Now with that in mind--On Tuesday we read chapter 4 of Proverbs and in verse 23 it says, "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life."
God is always trying to plant new seeds of victory and peace and joy in your heart, for your heart is the soil that the seed (word) grows in. Whatever kind of seeds you plant there you produce fruit.
Whatever kind of seed you and I have planted will be the fruit that grows from that plant. And it's the fruit that you eat that will develop the kind of life you produce.
The enemy of our soul will try to get you to plant seeds that produce pain, doubt, and other things that displease god. That's his nature---don't be surprised!
Situations occur in life that are not always what we want or believe for. Don't let those seeds be planted in your heart. They are designed to become plants so fruit can grow from them, and what do we people do with fruit? They eat them and that fruit becomes a part of their lives. Not every fruit is to be eaten. Discern for your life what you will eat spiritual and emotional for what you eat with flow out of your life. That often produces life or death.
Stand guard over your heart and don't allow everything that comes towards you to be received. Reject all that does not come from God and His Word.
GUARD your HEART today and you will not regret it tomorrow.
