Great Saturday morning to all.

Just a reminder: Turn your clock forward one hour!!!!

Wouldn't want you to be late for Sunday morning service.

 

There is a government sign that says, "Uncle Sam needs you." 

Well, there is a heavenly sign that says, "The Body of Christ Needs You."

You can read all about the same sign in 1 Corinthians. 12:27

 

God made the church His Family, so that we need each other to fulfill His purpose here on earth. He has given us an assignment, a mission, and wants us to do it together.

Your service is essential. Without your service the family will suffer unnecessarily. Each of us has an important role to fulfill.

No ministry in the church is insignificant. All are important. Some are visible and some are behind the scenes. But all are valuable and necessary.

When one part of the body (family) fails to function, the whole body suffers. We depend on each other to function. 

Most of you reading this probably know where I am going with this blog. The body suffers because someone says---well, I not going to do this or that, or I need some time off. They sit on the sidelines and complain because something went wrong. 

God has given you an appropriate ministry for you. If you are operating in that gift, then we say to you: Great, keep on giving. If you are on the sideline, it's time to get up and run your race, the rest of the team needs you. 

God has prepared you and me for a life time of service. No, you won't get burnout. Work makes you stronger not weaker. Laziness makes one weak. But we are not weak, we are strong and called to serve the King. Roll up your sleeves and let's get busy for the kingdom of God.
