Good Saturday

Well, Resurrection Day is today. I trust you will join us for service at 10:00 am. We have a schedule filled with Jesus as our audience. We will come to worship him and Him alone.

There is a question for you---Do you remember your Resurrection Day? The day you received Jesus as your personal Savior? What was happening in your life at that time that brought you to Jesus? Some of you may need to go back just a week or a few weeks, while others need to  go back a longer time. What a time that must have been. Reflect on it from time to time.

So, what has changed in your life since that resurrection day for you? Is there any evidence for that transformation? Are there still old things lingering on you? What type of ministry work has been added to your life? Have you brought others to the Lord?

See, The resurrection is God's foundation for the salvation of mankind. We are saved for no other reason than because Jesus rose from the grave. Without it there would be no hope as Paul says in his writings to us.

Here is my challenge for all of us. On a somewhat regular basis, record for yourself: How much have I allowed God to use me for His kingdom's sake since my resurrection day?

As you do that, it will keep the Resurrection of Jesus forefront in your mind and heart. It will become the focus of my service.

Yes, He is alive and we live because He lives.

Much love,

Pastor G
