Good Saturday morning to you all.
Right from the start---how are you doing with reading one chapter of Proverbs per day? Isn't that a great book to read? Imagine receiving life instructions from the 2nd wisest person in the world.

Here is a bold question to ask you: What do you expect in life? Think this through, don't just answer it, meditate on it. Quick answers are usually not the best or right answers.
Here is what I think. The answer to this question should be based on who and whose "you" are.
Hear this: If you were the child of a very wealthy parent, would you not answer that question differently if you were the child of a poor parent? That makes sense.
Now because we belong to God our father, should we not be expect what God has and does? ABSOLUTELY!!!
James tells us in the Bible that all good things come from above. Think that through.
I say this because we as children of God, are called to finish the work that Jesus started some 2,000 years ago. If you don't believe that, then you will never win even one person for the kingdom of God. Your expectations set the limits for your life. I am talking about every area of your life, because God is interested in what interests you. If you just go around saying, "Well, I am just grateful for being alive today," that's a good start, but God has more in store for you to accomplish.
If you never expect anything good for your life, you will probably get that. If you don't expect things to get better---quess what? They probably won't.
God wants to meet you at the level of your expectancy. That puts the responsibility back on you.
Let me throw this at you: "According to your faith, let it be done unto you," Jesus said!!!
So, here is my point for all of us today--start expecting more than you have in the past. If it will bring glory to God and benefit to mankind, why not expect the best and more?
I challenge you today in Jesus' name.
