Good Saturday morning to all.

Here is a thought to consider before I share: What life is really all about?

Phil. 4:12-13 says, "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation...."

Contentment does not come easily to most people. By nature, we are restless. Looking for the "next" thing. To be content, we must learn to stop incessantly grabbing for more. There is an overwhelming desire to acquire more. (spirit of greed)

Ecc. 4:6 says, "It is better to have a little with peace of mind, than to be busy all the time with both hands. Trying to catch the wind."

The greatest things in life are not things!

Some people consider it a tragedy to "die" penniless. Truth is ---that's the way I want to go.

At the moment of death people never ask for "THINGS". They ask for "people" because, after all is said and done, everyone eventually learns that life is all about relationships.

Let's learn that sooner. Even NOW! It sure would relieve a lot of stress.

Life is not about achievements, accomplishments, or acquiring more things.

Life is about relationships. So, how are you doing in that realm?

Here are a few things you can:

*Make a few call this week, just to say hello.

*Invite someone over the house for a time of fellowship.

*Take someone out for breakfast this or next week.

There are so many other things you can do, because life is about PEOPLE and not about things.

Much love,

Pastor G

PS---have you been baptized since you believed in Jesus?

If not, we are having a baptismal service on Sept. 13th at 10:00 here at HOPE.
