Good Saturday morning to you all.
Here is a quick question for you to think about: Will anyone be in Heaven because of you?
Wow! That is a personal question. How dare I ask you that? It is none of anyone's business. Or is it?
Let me invite you this Sunday at 10:00am to our service as we baptize about 20 new believers into the family of God. I will also be speaking about HEAVEN. Message entitled: What is your Conviction about Heaven?
Each of us as believers has been given special gifts to use to bless God's family and even others who are not yet in the family of God. I encourage you all to use those gifts. Others will benefit and you will be pleased with how God has used you for the sake of others.
Now putting that aside, remember we all have different gifts. All are equal, but different based on the need at hand.
However, as believers we all have a responsibility to others who have not heard the clear message of salvation. Many have heard a message focused on good works and similar concepts. Yet, many will die and go to a Christless eternity because they do not KNOW Jesus. They have knowledge of Him, but do not know him personally. That becomes each believer's responsibility.
In God's complete wisdom, He places us in different places and families primarily to witness salvation to those who do not know Him. Jesus says in scripture: "I am the way the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me." Do we take that seriously, or is it just a passing thought?
Eternity is forever. The Bible does not just use words to fill a page; His words are truth and will result in what He says.
So, our concern and responsibility to others is to share the gospel. Make it clear so they understand what God means in His word to us.
You will have NO GREATER joy than knowing someone you ministered to has entered into the Kingdom of God.
So, let's use our gifts as a need arises, but let's use our words to lead someone into the family of God.
