Good Saturday morning to you.

One of the big things 25 years ago was "family escape routes" out of the house if ever a fire started. That saved many lives.

I wonder if you have an escape route for when temptation comes. I guarantee you will face more temptations in your life than you will fires. If you don't you may suffer more than necessary.

Without being preachy, let me give you a few thoughts from scripture.

In 1 Tim. 6:11 it says, "Run from all these evil things."

Please note this: We must first agree on what the Bible identifies as temptation and evil. If you don't, you will miss this whole blog and victory in your life.

We see according to 1 Tim. that we are to move quickly out of any situation that causes you temptation. NEVER argue with temptation; if you do you WILL LOOOOOSE. Every time!

Regardless of the type of temptation that comes your way. Don't fool yourself. Get out at all costs. Family, friends, workers—that list goes on and on.

If you don't like getting stung, stay away from bees.

Temptations come our way at all times. We usually know when temptation is coming. We have the Holy Spirit living within us to warn us of the enemy's attacks. We must obey what the Holy Spirit says to us.

So, let me give you 3 things to do when temptation comes your way.

1. RUN away from it, no matter the form temptation takes.

2. Don't argue or compromise with temptation---it will lie to you every time.

3. Be accountable to someone who is spiritually and morally strong.

***You do those 3 things and victory will walk by your side on a regular basis.

Let me know how it is working out for you.

Much love,

Pastor G
