Good Morning Church family---
Just a thought to hold on to this morning.
I want to share a bit about---counting the cost before you commit.
We all like to say YES to things that we do not consider the cost to first. Every decision in life has a price. Not always in the money sense but in time, in sacrifice, and a host of other things, you must ask yourself first, am I willing to pay the price to say Yes to this request? Whether in the spiritual or secular. Therefore I am giving you permission to tell people, "I'll get back to you on that". It's ok to think it through first. In doing so you would consider the cost it will cost you to be faithful to that task.
Read Luke 14:28-29. It makes this very clear.
One of the reasons why is because your name is attached to your words. Your integrity is attached to what you agree to.
So, here is the question to ask yourself when making a major decision---Is it worth it? Be honest with yourself and you will have no regrets.
Much love,
Pastor G
