Chapter Study Method

The Chapter Study Method . . . 

• Choose a Book of the Blbe you want to read/study
• Chapter 1 ~ Read 3-5 Times
  1. Give it a Title
  2. What is its context? (What is it about?)
  3. Who are the main characters? (People, places, things)
  4. Key Verse(s)
  5. What do the above verse(s) mean?
  6. Key Words: What words keep coming up in this chapter?
  7. Cross-Reference: Read other passages or verses that relate to your chapter read.
  8. Is Jesus &/or His character seen in this chapter? What are these traits?
  9. Other major principles you personally see in this chapter:
  10. Personal Application: How can I apply what I just read?
  11. Look back at it after:
      • 1 week
      • 2 weeks
      • 3 weeks & ask, has that activity/attitude become permanent?
• Repeat for each chapter of the Book you have chosen to study.
