When we look over the universe and find no other gods. We search all of the little false deities on earth, they are weak, angry, full of wrath with no compassion, vengeful, lusty, nasty, filthy and untrustworthy!
- God could have been Emotional, have Tantrums, Evil, Moody, Squirrelly but He is not!
- God is Love, not a god of love, lust, sexuality or fertility . . . No HE IS LOVE!
We can never be tricked or deceived
I John 4:1-6 - (Faithlife Study Bible)
- spirit - refers to the spiritual source of a teaching or doctrine. According to John, every teaching about Christ originates from a spiritual source. A teaching is either true or from the Spirit of God, or a false and from the spirit of deceit (vs. 6).
- Test the spirits - believers derive their ability to test truth and falsehood from their anointing by God, their knowledge of the teachings of Jesus, and the work of the Holy Spirit in them (2:20, 27; 3:24). They can determine a spirit's origin by examining whether its teaching reflects the love of Christ. vs. 7-11 - Knowing God through LOVE.
- because many false prophets - testing is necessary because of the presence of false teaching - whcih, based on the terminology used by John, was likely derived directly from an evil spiritual power.
I John 4:4
- conquered them - true believers prevail over false teachers because Christ, whose Spirit resides in them, is stronger than the antichrists and any spiritual powers at work in them (I John 4:1). As believers face false teachings, they can have assurance in Jesus' victory over evil.
I John 4:7-11 - we know which God we worship because He is LOVE

Vs. 1
- Blessed - ashre - privileged or happy
- Do onto walk in the advice of:
- Counsel - avoid thinking like
- Way - behaving like
- Sent - dealing with the wicked
- Don't take life advice from Sinners
- Mockers - Hebrew - zed - arrogant fool who refuses discipline and correction
Vs. 2
- Meditates - Hagah - murmur or read aloud
- Joshua 1:8
- Meditate day and night then there is success
Vs. 3
- Blessed = a Tree: Stable, well nourished, fruitful and prosperous
- Psalms 92:12-14
- Jeremiah 17:7, 8

20 " 'Look, I am about to send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. 21 Be attentive to him and listen to his voice; do not rebel against him, because he will not forgive your transgression, for my name is in him. 22 But if you listen attentively to his voice and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes. 23 When my angel goes before you and brings you to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and teh Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, I will wipe them out.
24 " 'You will not bow to their gods, and you will not serve them, and you will not act according to their actions, because you will utterly demolish them, and you will utterly break their stone pillars. 25 And you will serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will remove sickness from among you. 26 There will be no one suffering miscarriage or infertile in your land. I will make full the number of your days.

We should be Imitators of God Ephesians 5:1, 2
Vs. 1 Therefore become imitators of God, as beloved children.
Vs. 2 and live in love, just as also Christ loved us, and gave himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant smell.

Isaiah 6:1-9 - The Steps of Worship and Service Unto God
- Vs. 1-4 we see God HIGH! Seeing the revelation of who God really is and His awesome, sovereign majesty.
- Vs. 5-7 we see ourselves as low, sinful and in need of cleansing and saving
- Vs. 8-9 ready to be used of God
