Good Saturday morning Church family.
A Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Enoy, enjoy, and enjoy.
As we look forward to Thursday of this week, we all have a little different view of what Thanksgiving means to us. To a child, it would be different than to an adult. Also, to believers it may be a little different than to a non- believer.
We happen to believe that all good things come from God. So, our Thanksgiving is a little more upward than many others.
I want to just ask you to be a little more mindful of all the blessings we have been given by our Father. As adults and even parents, this Thursday would be a great time to ask those eating around the table what they are most grateful for. Make sure you are the last one to speak, you want to hear what is the heart of your children in this area. Don't be harsh with them if they do not answer as you would like them to. This may reveal to you an area you may need to address a little more directly to them.
The goodness of God has been displayed to us in so many different ways. In the natural to the spiritual to the eternal. Each of those areas are important and they need to be identified as a gift from God. Let your family hear it from you as the head of your home that you acknowledge that God is the source of your blessings.
Well, we invite you to join us this Wednesday evening at 7:00pm as we celebrate Thanksgiving service with the body of Christ and share the LORD'S SUPPER in our service.
