Good Saturday Morning family!

This past week I started getting my garden in order.

One of the things I did was clean up my raised bed garden by getting rid of old rotten plants from last year.

I thought about our lives that if we want to grow we must get rid of the old in order for the new to grow properly.

Ephesians 4:22 tells us "Throw away the old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception."

Changes require making decisions. It is not enough to desire change, there is something you must also do. You must choose to change.

Change is intentional. I can tell you, changes ONLY happen when you accompany desire to change with action.

We often think that I am just gonna wait on God and see the change come to pass. That does occur from time to time, but if there is something that you can do, you must participate in that change. Sometimes, God is waiting on you to do your part.

When those changes come then you will see growth.

For example: You want to witness to others---well, that is a great thing to desire, but unless you go out and share your testimony you will not grow in that area.

Now, I know that is common sense, but I often find people wanting the result of change, but not willing to do what it takes.

----So, what do you want to grow in? Do you know what you must do? If you don't know, ask someone. If you do know what to do ---are you willing to do it? When and only when you DO IT, then you will see change. And guess what---CHANGE BRINGS GROW. Not just in spiritual things but also natural things.

I am confident that you can and will do it. Blessings to you.

Much love,

Pastor G
