Good Saturday Morning to each of you.

I trust you have not been caught by surprise with this winter's wonderful land weather.

Here is my little challenge for you today.

We are at the stage where many people who made resolutions are having a difficult time doing and keeping what you said they would do. Frustration may be setting in because you are not as consistent as you thought you could and should be. You want to QUIT, throw in the towel and default back to what it was last year. STOP!!!

The difficulty you are experiencing is not anything to quit over. Ask yourself why are you at this stage? If it is because of lack of discipline that's one story. However, maybe it is because you set a goal that may be too high to reach in the time you wanted to. That's just a time adjustment.

A little personal testimony from me to you.

I am still doing all that I did 20 years ago. I thank God for the health He has given me. One little change though---even though I still do all that I did 20 years back, it takes me a little longer to accomplish those same tasks. No big deal, just a little time adjustment.

We do not quit just because it has not been done yet, we recalculate and move forward. The word impossible should not be in the conversation.

The Ap. Paul makes it clear---"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Since that is true, then that wish you have set for your goal, must also be true.

Look at those goals you set. Are they obtainable? Be honest. If they are just crazy notions, take them off the table and be real with yourself. But if they are within reach plus a little bit more, then go for it. Don't quit, take your time and keep moving.

*You may have said, - I will read the Bible more but stopped, pick it up again and keep moving forward.

*Going to lose weight but oh oh, start again, you can do it.

*Going to start going back to church regularly, come on, it is in you to do, so do it.

*I am going to start tithing, but it's a slow start, you can do what you said.

Let 2024 be the year you accomplish what you have set as a goal.

Let me in on it, maybe I can help push you over the finish line.

Much love,

Pastor G
