I want to say thank you to anyone who is reading this blog today---a special THANK YOU for the members of your family who serve us in some form of military service. We appreciate your sacrifice.

Here is my thought for today.

Sometimes the smallest words cause us to think. Here is the word I want you to meditate on today---"IT".

Here is the scripture -- Luke 6:38---"Give, and IT shall be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over."

Do we give to live or do we LIVE to GIVE? That's a fair question.

We often read this verse and automatically think about giving money, and though it does not exclude money, there are many other "things" we can give.

Our time, our spirit, our joy, a smile, our patience, a phone call, an invite, the list goes on and on.

So, here is my point based on that scripture---whatever you want more of--that's what we give more of.

One of our responsibilities in our Chrsitian life is to bless others. And blesses come when we give.

God's plan is for us to reach out to others with one or more of the "IT". I know we understand that is what we ought to  do---the question is---Are we giving IT?

IT is powerful when given in love. The IT will make a difference in someone else's life.

So, here is my thought---Today, give someone the IT that they need. You may be surprised by what God sends back to you.

Let me know how that works out.

Blessing to you all.

Much love,
Pastor G
