Good Saturday Morning family.
In the last few weeks we have been challenged in the area of "FORGIVENESS" in our Wednesday night Bible study. If you have not been with us you could stream the studies anytime you choose to.
I want to cap it off, because this area is so important for every believer to have under control.
Eph. 4:32 reminds us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
We have all been hurt and even we have hurt others. Whether intentionally or not, we have all done our part in this area. As soon as we hear about forgiveness our minds go to the place when we have been hurt. The memories are still fresh.
However the Bible gives us one very important reason we need to forgive.--- We forgive others because God forgave us.
When you think about how much God has forgiven you, it will cause you to be more forgiving of those who have hurt you.
Think about this: God has completely wiped away your sins and He did that on the CROSS.
No matter what anyone does to you, you'll never have to forgive any other person more than God has already forgiven you.
But when you forgive because of how you have been forgiven, your hurt will be replaced with God's peace and joy.
