Good Morning Married Couples,

Last week we said that marriage is a marathon. I trust you continue to run it. At the base of marriage must be Love. We started sharing about how to have persevering love for each other. I want to give you a few more truths this week---so here they are.

*Deep Trust in each other:

You have persevering love for each other because you have created a TRUST in your spouse.

A trust that says, I am confident that my spouse has my best interest at heart for me. You have guarded their heart and their life. More than anybody else on earth, husbands and wives must rely on each other. This level of trust takes time, and under the pressure of trials, you prove yourself trustworthy to each other.

*Endurance:

Every kind of trial will come up in life.

If you do not have endurance during those trials your marriage will suffer losses. Commitment helps you stay connected to each other during those times. Endurance Is the determination to outlast the problems at hand. Your problems are not a sign of a bad marriage, it is a sign of life.

Do problems TOGETHER!!!! For a moment, think about how those trials and challenges in life can draw you closer together.

I have 2 more thoughts for you, but that's for next week. Think deeply on these two for now.

Much love,

Pastor G
